About Me - The Pack Leader
My name is Johanna and I am originally from Sweden.
For over 15 years, I have been working with pets and their families in the Beaches, and neighbourhoods close by. I love to be around animals. From a very early age I have always been around animals of any kind. I studied Animal Care for 3 years in Sweden, before I started travelling around the world.
I moved to Toronto, Canada in 2005 and have lived and worked in the Beaches ever since. I absolutely LOVE to be outside everyday playing and caring for your dog while you are busy at work. I also provide dog boarding in my home, for dogs that have been "pre approved" by my own 3 dogs and 2 Bengal cats.
And I can reassure they will receive the highest quality care and the feel like being at home.
I have Pet First Aid certificate and update myself regularly with different pet courses like Pets 101 and similar.
I am insured and bonded and have the City of Torontos Dog Walking License that I update yearly.

Cat visits which include feeding, cleaning litter box, cuddling and playing, watering plants and taking in the mail $25/ visit
Puppy Visits -pee/poo break and eventual feeding $25/visit

It is so apparent that Johanna loves what she does and loves the dogs in her pack. She took such good care of our Benson for the 5 years she walked him and we always knew he was in such good hands with her. One of the best sounds was hearing Johanna come in to pick up Benson for his walk and how excited he was to see her and how she greeted him everyday. She is so patient and compassionate and helped us navigate the early years of adopting Benson, who had some behavioural issues. She never gave up on him and provided us with so many helpful suggestions and tips to help him. We credit where he is now and his ability to play with other dogs to Johanna.
We recently moved out of the city and Benson (along with us!) miss her dearly! We would recommend Johanna to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate and loving dog walker. She is the best!

Johanna has been walking my dog, Brynja, for almost 4 years now, and i would recommend he to anyone looking for a dog walker or pet sitter. She is reliable, thoughtful, trustworthy and extremely conscientious. Johanna is very deliberate about which dogs she walks together, always working to have the best mix of personalities, and she takes great care not to walk too many dogs at once, so that your dog is assured of her attention, and will not be overwhelmed by a big crowd of dogs. Johanna’s knowledge of nutrition, first aid and behaviour are top notch - I know that she routinely takes extra courses to stay up to date with information and techniques. Further, as you can see from the great photos on this this site, the dogs love her!

Johanna has taken care of our cat in our home on multiple occasions, for periods from an overnight away to a two-week vacation. She is, without doubt, one of the most knowledgeable and caring individuals our family has ever known -- and our family pet has benefitted along with us from her attention to detail and professionalism. Johanna has been transformational in the development of our dog. It began with puppy visits, then moved to dog walks with the pack once our puppy was fully immunized. Johanna's training in animal science shows in her approach to pets. She has an impressive knowledge of animal health, nutrition and behavior. From the first visit until today she has proven to be an indispensable part of our family. Johanna understands the wants and needs of our little dog. As a result, Bergen's social skills are well developed. Johanna is professional, reliable, organized, thoughtful and trustworthy. She leaves daily report cards after her visit and makes excellent use of technology by utilizing social media and text messages to communicate, provide updates and send pictures of the latest shenanigans. We are grateful to have her.
